Now, let's dive into the menu, which is a treasure trove of flavors. The crab dip is a must-try; hailed by many as one of the best in the area, it strikes the perfect balance between crab meat, creamy cheese, and a medley of seasonings that will leave you craving more. While some suggest an increase in the accompanying bread, its deliciousness remains unquestionable.

Another standout is the BBQ chicken, subtly sweet and paired perfectly with a selection of sides, including dirty rice and delectable hush puppies served with a cinnamon honey butter dip that is simply divine.
For those seeking a comforting dish, the Alfredo pasta has earned accolades for its rich flavors. It’s a hit with families, particularly when chicken is added. The variety extends beyond seafood as well, with options like juicy pork loin and robust burgers available.

1st time here my parents swore iits the best food. The building seems outdated and behind in times but rhe food is amazing. Staff was super friendly and fast. I would only suggest making the building nicer. If you haven't been here you got to try the crab dip it's so good do wish they gave more bread with it tho. As my family got different items I was able to try many dishes and they were all good the BBQ chicken is kinda sweet and the grouper was great the crab on top is and excellent touch. The scallops were great. Shrimp was not over cooked and perfect. As my daughter said the Alfredo was perfect she added chicken and ate it all before I could even get a bite. Over all its a must go to. Will return to this place if I ever make it back there

This was exactly the place we were looking for. It was a small hole in the wall type place. They had awesome food and our servers were excellent. The food was wonderful and the price was more affordable than some other places for similar dishes. Get there about 30 min before you are ready to eat if you go on a weekend evening. They are packed! It was so worth the wait. Clean your table a little. Be kind to your server I saw some people's tables left trashed! Combine the drinks put silverware in a cup take the straws out and put them on your plate with trash.

Whole fried flounder was amazing! We were a party of 11, they seated us quickly and we ordered fried food, snow crab, pork loin, lots of shrimp, and even a couple of burgers. Service is friendly and fast, food is great. We will definitely go back. The bar is well stocked and staffed.

I've been here when it was Turtle Island, before they closed/re-opened under the Back 2 Shuckers name Shuckers was the restaurant's name before Turtle Island). I can say: major kuddos to whomever came in and re-did the interior. My one complaint from before was the dark, close inside. It's so open and full of light now! Now to the food: everything we got was amazing! Crab dip, whole flounder, wings, pasta, everything was delicious. The staff are super nice and accommodating. My one tip: they open at 5:00, and you should arrive by 4:45 to get your name on the list. If you don't mind waiting, then show up whenever, but if you have a larger party, it pays to arrive early.

Very nice experience! After trying three other restaurants with wait times at 30 minutes or more, we called this place to see if they had much of a wait and they said they could get our family of four right in. We were seated quickly and had a great dinner. Our young kids LOVED the pasta with marinara sauce and my husband was impressed by the wings with boom boom sauce. The service was timely and dependable. Only recommendation is that the atmosphere be improved. The bar area was inviting but the tables are in a space that could use some increased comfort, warmth and style. With other eateries getting overrun with tourists this is a hidden gem that should not be passed by.

Hands down the best food in Oak Island!!! We tried to get a takeout order from them one night and found out that they don’t offer that yet. So, we just went in the next night, and we were so glad that we did! We started with the crab dip. It was the perfect balance of crab, cheese, and seasonings. My meal was the calabash style fish, shrimp, and clam strips with sweet potato fries. I’m addition to that, you get cole slaw and hush puppies. I could have eaten a basket of the hush puppies. They were that good. This meal was just what we needed, and it will be my choice if we get seafood again while still on vacation here.

Lovely dining and food experience! This is some good southern fried seafood! The dirty rice is a must have and came straight from god. The hush puppies paired with that cinnamon honey butter dip is chefs kiss! Fried seafood tastes amazing! A great experience on our Oak Island trip! Be prepared for a wait, its a town favorite! But a wonderful experience!!

Everything here has been top notch. Appetizers and entrees. The crab dip is great and there is a shrimp toast (????) sometimes I want to try. The seafood is cooked good. Deviled crab is super. Love the shrimp cooked just right. Whole flounder is top notch. The prime rib on Friday night is very good and can get a baked potato with it. The desert (forogt name) was teally good. Our wauter was top notch ( all of them have been) It can be crowded sometimes but the food is worth it.
